There are no words to describe the tornado of brilliance that is comedian Steven Brody Stevens, hence these last few days have been challenging for most everyone in the comedy community. His heart was explosive. His mind was dynamic. His energy was, well, positive. He was a comedian, a personality, and a baseball player. And one of the funniest people ever to walk the face of the earth. On February 22, 2019 Brody had died as a result of reportedly taking his own life. Details have yet to be released to the public, but the reality is confirmed, Brody has left us all.

Unforgettably original. Undeniably mesmerizing. Brody was like no other. And he will be missed tremendously by countless fans and friends and his family.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the '818' legend  and hello to the beginning of  The Brody Stevens "Believe It" Fund. Here we will honor our friend and colleague by raising donations to bring awareness to mental illness and suicide prevention.  He is survived by his Mother and sister, Stephanie, and he will live in our hearts forever.

We love you, Brody.

We enjoyed it.

"Brody was an inspiring voice who was a friend to many in the comedy community," Stevens' reps said in a statement. "He pushed creative boundaries and his passion for his work and his love of baseball were contagious. He was beloved by many and will be greatly missed. We respectfully ask for privacy at this time."

“I love you so much Brody Stevens. Nobody has been nicer in comedy than you. My heart is shattered.” - Whitney Cummings

"If you are depressed or feeling suicidal please please please please please reach out to ANYONE. I never get to see Brody Stevens again I can’t stand this." - Patton Oswalt

"The comedy community has lost one of its funniest, kindest people today. @brodyismyfriend, I will miss you terribly." - Joe Rogan

On behalf of everyone that knew and loved Brody Stevens, we would like to send a heartfelt Thank you to everyone that has stopped by to donate and share their stories of how this brilliant ball of positive energy touched all of your lives. Last week we were able to make 40K in tickets sales to add to this go fund me and that brings our total to $55K + to donate to The National Alliance of Mental Health so others can receive the support they need. Tonight we will formally say goodbye to our friend and colleague at a closed private event honoring him and his legacy. We appreciate you. And, you are not alone. ENJOY IT!

A private memorial service will take place today for those close to one of comedy’s most unique voices. Since he was the “Prince of Periscope,” the @roastbattle and @redban accounts will live stream the event today around 7:00 p.m. PST.
