Brixton's Battle

My name is Brixton Alexander Urbaez, I just turned three years old July 25th, 2017. I've been newly diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) an aggressive brain tumor that is terminal. My parents (Alana Soucy and Kadir Urbaez) and family are trying to find a cure but at the present moment the only treatment is radiation and clinical trials, chemo and surgery are not an option. 
Without any treatment, someone could only have months to live and even with the radiation the doctors do expect the tumor to grow back. They are hoping that by shrinking the tumor I could have a better quality of life.  

I've been experiencing symptoms which will be on the bottom of the page in hopes to bring awareness to this type of pediatric cancer, as it goes misdiagnosed in the beginning stages.

My favorite things are my mommy and daddy, family and friends, my grandparents and my aunts and uncles. 
I love playing at parks, going to the beach / pond, chocolate, ice cream, cars and trucks, singing, dancing and I love my doggie Bindi.  People tell me I'm a lady magnet, awfully cute, affectionate, very smart, and an angel sent from above. I'm so little that I may not realize what they say about me. So, I'll take their word for it. 

Any donations will help my family pay for medical expenses, temporary leave from work and travel to and from Boston Children's Hospital. If anything, I hope this brings awareness to (DIPG) and hope for a cure. 
 
I am a fighter and with the love and support of my family and friends I am determined to defeat this disease. 

Symptoms of (DIPG) , Problems with eye movement. ...
Facial weakness, drooping on one side of the face.
Sudden appearance of hearing problems, including deafness. Touching of the ears. 
Trouble chewing or swallowing, excessive drooling or gagging while eating.
Limb weakness, difficulty standing or walking, abnormal gaits, unbalanced limb movements.
