Bert’s life has been strongly rooted in two unique places; New York and The Netherlands. As a family, we all cherish the time we spent in the small Dutch village of De Heen, where he was raised. In lieu of flowers, we humbly request your gracious help to “Bring Bert Home.” It is very important to us to return a part of Bert back to his motherland where more friends and family will be able to celebrate his life. 

All donations will be put towards travel expenses for Anastasia, Renier, Melissa and Amanda Schepers to return Bert to his home as well as placing a memorial for Bert in The Netherlands.
