Help ignite the JTea Studio

I'm a proud 'cultural creative'.

And my future is in Akron, Ohio.

On MARCH 20th, 2017 I'm moving back home after nearly a year and a half of intensive buddhist work/study in rural Vermont!

AND establishing a new teaching studio dedicated to fostering a mindful approach to music making, acting, writing, public speaking and community engagement.

Also: Tea will be served :)

After MONTHS of careful consdieration the next move is clear.

"The JTea Studio" is, in many ways, a continuation of the best work I've done over the last 20 years (!) as a pianist, composer, director, music director, writer, lecturer, community advocate and private lesson coach/teacher.

To do all this doesn't cost much...but....

....I'll need to cover some basic moving expenses and the cost of 'setting up shop'.

$700: establishing rental and basic setup on a space
$200: fees and costs for setting up 501c3
$750: Vehicle readiness/maintenance
$250: Gas, hotel and misc travel expenses
$150: 3 months mobile phone service
$100: Piano moving
$100: Piano tuning
$500: marketing and promotional materials (print & web)
$500: survival money (i. e. food and clothing for my first 2-3 weeks back in town before income starts in-coming).

I'll need the funds by March 15th. Any help, online or offline, will be of MASSIVE benefit.

As an added bonus....

While home, I'll also be:
 - overseeing the WORLD PREMIERE of my new musical 'Goosetown' at the Center for Applied Theatre and Active Culture.
-resuming work with New Vision UCC in Canton on artistic and development efforts.
 - completing my Master's Thesis (Uakron, Arts Administration),
  - working with my local Shambhala meditation center as it continues to offer the dharma to the neighbors.

The Bottom Line:

I'm coming home to serve some needs.

The times are getting crazy, and a year and five months out here at Karme Choling has been a transformative time. It would mean the world to me to come home and support the great creative work my friends and colleagues are doing by adding essential skills and services to their already vibrant efforts!

Thank you for your JenerosiTEA!!!
