This is Bridget Kelley. She is a sweet, hilarious, brilliant, kind and energetic 7-year old. She is also a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, classmate, and teammate to many people who love her very, very much.
Bridget was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Due to how loved she is, many people have been asking how they can help support her and her family during this difficult time.
The Kelleys are not ones to ask for help, but due to their current circumstances, and the outpouring of offers to assist them, we have decided to ask on their behalf. This way Megan and Dan can continue to focus their energy where it is needed most: on Bridget and her sisters Fiona (5) and Shannon (2).
Bridget and her family are preparing for a 2-year treatment plan, with many regular visits to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund Clinic for treatment after she is able to leave Boston's Children's Hospital. In addition to the burden of the actual treatments, they will face many unforeseen expenses, from gas and parking to medical expenses and more.
In addition to being able to donate here, if anyone is looking to send something directly, or is looking for other ways to help, please feel free to contact either Nicole Steeves (facebook)or email [email redacted] or Jon Spack (facebook) or email [email redacted].
Team Bridget thanks you in advance for your help and continued love, thoughts and prayers!
