Brian Cummins' Medical Fund

Brian Cummins, an ordinary 38-year-old man, has an extraordinary problem. Having lost his job, he has recently found out that he needs to have his thyroid removed to prevent a potential life-threatening situation; however, he also has bills to pay, a five-year-old son to support, a critical surgery scheduled, and the doctors also tell him that he must lose weight prior to surgery. As many of you know, the thyroid plays an active role in weight loss/gain and because of his critical hypoactive thyroid, weight loss in the "usual" way has become impossible. Desperate for an alternative, Brian turned to a homeopathic practitioner and was finally able to lose some body mass. Courtesy of the recent job loss he has been unable to continue this mode of treatment, not being able to afford the vitamins and medicine that had previously resulted in success.
