help a brother out
I am really, really touched that so many of you have reached out to me in the last few days and offered your help. I wanted to give you all an opportunity to help in this way if you wish, at this fundraising site and I wanted to give you guys an update.
December 2014 while snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park, I had a very high impact fall and broke my back. I couldn't feel or move my legs. I was quickly airlifted to the Whistler Hospital and then airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital for surgery. I woke up in a world of pain beyond what I had ever known. Five vertebrae are now linked with titanium screws and rods. I have been assured that the operation went well, although when I asked if I would be able to walk again, they said "We dont know." I'm a great deal more optimistic than that. I say YES, I will walk and run and dance and skip and do kart wheels. However, with no additonal insurance to help me get through the next two or three years of healing it could be a great deal more difficult than i has to be. With a little help from a lot of people, I'd say I've got a great chance to be walking again.
Thanks so much for all the care and support and most importantly the love you've given me. I cannot thank you enough. This has been very special. Bless you.
To You wonderful people, friends, family from everywhere,
Your kindness and generosity will help me heal.
If you have shared with me here in the form of currency it will be used to help me heal, whether it is for Emergency Medivac travel, special equipment, alterations or installations, or medications, all of this directly helps me to heal as well as I can and as fast I can. Please keep in mind that recoveries from injuries such as this can sometimes take several years.
Thank you from my soul to yours.

You've all made it possible for me to get a reformer which is so incredible I cant even explain it! Its so awesome of you guys to help!
I wanted to let you know that I'm going to keep going, I'm going to try to reach the next target, the ideal model of this machine is within reach!!! :))) I have raised the goal amount to $8400 and I'd love to even get close to that!
Here's the dream, depending on how much love will come from others that want to see this happen, will determine which model I can get my little butt into. There are three different models, each one more diverse than the next...
1. SPX Reformer
2. SPX Max Plus Reformer
3. The Rehab V2 Max
This is a link to the SPX Reformer I'm fundraising for,
If everyone really wants to see this happen, I'm going for one of these models, which is a much more advanced model, offering many more options for strengthening.
SPX Max Plus
The Rehab V2 Max

I've set some goals, and started raising funds to get a rehab exercise machine. I will need it, to achieve these goals.

Goal 1: Walk 1000 Meters Outdoor, hills, bumps, curbs, etc. DONE
Goal 2: A walk in the Park, Walk from my place to Alpha Lake Park
Goal 3: Walk to town, 4.6 Kilometers
This is the machine I'll need to do it. This is what I'm raising funds to get! With your donation I can do this! Thank You.
