My name is Susan Randall. I am reaching out to you to help my friend Don Christen purchase the Inogen 3 Freedom 3 Oxygen Mobility Unit. I suffer from chronic pain due to fibromyalgia and other ailments. I had the good fortune to meet Don several years ago. Due to his self-taught knowledge of herbal remidies including medical cannibis products and his previous devoted activism, Don has helped many others. Don has been instrumental in my being able to successfully manage my pain and STOP using controlled drugs. His generosity and support are unwavering and completely selfless.
Don's mobility is currently limted to the range of the concentrator in his home. Portable units are not funded by Medicare/Disability or MaineCare. A survey of units available to purchase also limit mobility. Those units require one hand to pull the heavy/burdonesome unit and are simply not proficient in affording him mobility and independence,
I have researched many mobile units on line. The Inogen 3 Freedom 3 is a lightweight 4.8 lb unit that comes with 2 double batteries. This unit provides a higher oxygen setting (up to 5) which he needs at times and allow for up to 10 continous hours of relief. This is the ONLY unit that offers complete independence while being warrantied for life. The unit cost is $3,765.00.
Please help my friend Don to achieve his goal of independence FOR HANDS - FREE BREATHING WHILE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. He simply CAN NOT live freely without this unit.
