Hi!

I'm Lauriane,

A Survivor of Child Sex Abuse.

I'm biking from Vancouver to Ottawa to raise awareness on this issue and to inspire and empower other survivors in their healing process.

I am working with Voice Found, an Ottawa-based charity focused on Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and Human Exploitation.

Together, we are building this project: Break The Chain.

During the trip, I will meet with local organisations to put a light on their work.

I will meet with other survivors, so we can talk about their story and what they do to get better.

I will also meet with media and will have a strong presence of social media helping us along the way.

I leave Ottawa to Vancouver on the 2nd of July - launch the trip from Vancouver on the 4th of July - and should arrive back in Ottawa on the 21st of August.

After the trip is complete, everything used (Bike, GPS, Tent, etc.) will be donated.
