Brave Little Fighters Foundation
I am writing to tell you about Brave Little Fighters Foundation, a new nonprofit organization, which I have established to serve children with serious and terminal illness. The mission is to ease the heartache, uncertainty and challenges faced by the children along their very difficult medical journey by offering outings year round. Brave Little Fighter Outings include Bills, Bandits, Sabres and Bisons games as well as art, yoga, meditation and cooking classes and trips to the Great Pumpkin Farm and Darien Lake and our annual Christmas Party, all free of cost. The program accepts children facing a range of illnesses from cancer, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, hemophilia, neurological disorders, rheumatic diseases, heart diseases and other serious and terminal illnesses- all completely for free- from every background.
Brave Little Fighters, a registered nonprofit in the State of New York, hosted its 1st Annual Brave Little Fighters Christmas Party on Sunday, December 2nd at the American Legion in East Aurora. The party welcomed 100 family members, and was made possible entirely through generous donations from individuals and the community. It featured holiday music, a Santa Claus, cookie decorating, delicious cookies and donuts, pizza, presents and a wonderful photographer for a family photo op with Santa! Most of all, the party offered children a chance to connect with other children and families with other families. It was magical to see new friendships being formed in such a warm and festive atmosphere! If you would like to support our Brave Little Fighters for future joyful and memorable outings, we invite you to make a donation. All donations would be used for events for Brave Little Fighters Foundation, which will include an upcoming family visit to the George Eastman House and gingerbread house display, a Bandits game, and a MUSEjar watercolor art class.
I wanted to share several recent articles, which offer some background and a strong sense of our mission:
Sincerely, Elizabeth Agnello
