Branching Out for Artie

Donation protected
On July 15, 2015, Artie Branch experienced something both frightening and devastating to both himself and his family.  Artie had been complaining of chest pains before finally calling Debbie to say, "I think I'm having a heart attack."  Thanks to the EMT's prompt arrival and proper medical care, Artie was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he would later undergo a procedure to determine which arteries were blocked.

The procedure relayed some disturbing news to Artie and Debbie; he is a 100% candidate for heart failure.  A stint was placed in the artery that had 100% blockage and the other three valves have 60% blockage.  Artie was fitted for a life vest that he is to wear at all times, in addition to being placed on several costly medications that he is to take multiple times per day.  In the event the medications do not improve Artie's conditions, a triple bypass surgery may be necessary.

In an effort to help with the overwhelming financial burden, their friends, family, and co-workers have started this Go Fund Me campaign.  Debbie and Artie would like to thank all of you for your care, concerns, offers of help, and prayers; they feel truly blessed.
