Braedon Engle
January 11th Update: Braedon has been released from the hospital! He's at home resting and recovering. Braedon has regained almost all of his motor skills and physical abilities. Doctors are shocked. He's still being monitored and will have additional tests conducted. He's still not working but looking forward to getting his strength back.

Braedon is an amazing son, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend. He has the warmest smile and is thoughtful and kind. He's an Indiana University graduate and he has had to assume most of the work running the family's farm (which is extremely hard work) in Columbus, Indiana, while also working numerous part time jobs (which do not provide health insurance) to make ends meet.
He's 31 years old and suffered a stroke 2 weeks ago involving his middle cerebral artery in his brain. Currently, he's in the hospital in Indianapolis, conscious, as they are conducting more tests to understand why this happened, what additional treatment is needed and the effects. We'll share updates as we learn more.
He will incur major hospital and rehab expenses as well as loss of income. He has already been out of work for 2 weeks and we don't know how long he will stay in the hospital.
