Braden River High School Robotics
Braden River High School has one of the finest robotics organizations in the world. Advanced programs and courses, like our’s, cannot happen without support from the community. Students involved in the robotics program engage in exciting projects and competitions which promote careers in robotics and engineering. Students utilize SolidWorks and Autodesk to develop robots to compete in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related competitions.
Last year, both of our teams competed at multiple competitions including the TSA (Technology Student Association) State Conference, Vex Robotics State Competition, the TSA National Conference, and the Vex Robotics World Competition. Both teams were in the top twenty teams in the world last year and we hope to do as well this year, but all of these competitions come at a cost. We need your help. Competing at this high level depends on partnerships between the school and the community. Our student teams face cost of robotic parts, competition entry fees and travel expenses. Our teams are seeking donations to help cover the cost of competing at the Vex World Conference in Louisville, KY.
Through donations and support, we will represent our school, community, state, and nation while also preparing for technical jobs of the future. The students involved in this program will learn how to make a positive difference in the world we live in and will help to shape the future of generations to come by learning to live in a technical world. Thank you for your consideration and we hope that you will support our efforts to reach our goal to become 2017 VEX Robotic World Champions.
