Last night between (we believe) 2:30 - 3:30 am thieves backed up to our house (43rd Avenue & Thunderbird area) and stole my white utility trailer (AZ Plate Y19321) and the contents therein. Photos and descriptions will accompany this post. Then, in an act of vengeance, they slashed both rear tires of my Tahoe and the right rear tire of Brenda's Kia Soul. Both cars had to be towed to Discount Tire for repairs/replacement (hopefully) Monday morning. As a result Brenda Zinn missed her day of work at Arribas Mexican Food Grill in Scottsdale. We have filed a police report, and a claim with our insurance company. However, we do not, at this point, know what all they will cover/not cover. We have a $1000 deductible on the contents of the trailer (if they will cover any of it) and so far I guesstimate that the loss will be well over $10,000. The trailer itself is covered for theft with a much lower deductible.
Please help me make these photos of the stolen items go viral as I'd really like to catch these b*stards. Also, if you frequent Craigslist or similar trading/selling websites, please keep your eyes open for us. Brenda has been in tears most of the day. I feel gut punched and nauseous , and violated. I am most upset at the fact that I was awake and working the office most of the night and never heard a thing. However, the neighbor's dog barked up a fit between 2:30 or 3:0 this morning and that is how we are affixing the time. We have three bookings coming up in January and will have to recoup what we can to do the shows. By far the worst loss is of the beautiful steamer trunk that we use in the show. It is irreplaceable. That's the one item I really want back, and in good condition! Thank you for your help, support, and your prayers.
