My grandson Jacah Jefferson was born a healthy baby. At the age of 5 months he suffered abuse from a trusted family friend. Jacah is 7 years old now and suffers with shaken baby syndrome, seizure disorder, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays. I was married into Jacah's biological family. Once the abuse was caught and after several foster homes, I was blessed with kinship care of him. By the age of 2 Jacah's entire biological family faded away. With No phone calls or financial support from them, I continued to pursue legal custody. By the grace of God Jacah continues to reside with me and my family that loves him very much.

Jacah loves to travel and listen to music. During our journey Jacah has suffered 2 broken legs all due to having seizures in a vehicle (school bus & personal vehicle).

We have been blessed to purchase a wheelchair accessible van with your donations, the generous help of Houston Chariots for Children, and Adaptive Driving Access!! However our campaign has not ended.
