laying caridad to rest

Violence in the community between young adults has no doubtedly gotten out of control, it's simply an issue and we as a community need to focus on helping our young adults with guidance and structure. A simple act of violence and rage can instantly change several people's lives. With this being said we as an extended blended family are reaching out for help&support to lay a wonderful soul to rest. A young lady, a mother of 2, a sister who was adored, a aunt who was cherished, a cousin who was more like a sister and a daughter who was loved unconditionally. Caridad Carol Stripe lost her life to a single act of violence Monday, August 7th around noon. She was shot in the chest, witnessed by her younger sister and did not make it. Caridad was without a question beautiful inside & out, imperfectly human and had thoroughly sought out help in getting her young life together with actual steps and programs, she was thrilled to be enrolled in GED classes and excited about life again to have it all ended this past Monday. Her family is grieving, heartbroken and like many other families with a sudden loss short on finances that have arose. They have set a goal of $5,000 and a short-term goal of $2,000 for the initial deposit to get everything going.
