Hello everyone,
Please permit me share the life story of my son Jaylan Acey with you today.
Boubou as we all popularly call him is an amazing baby that God blessed me with on June 8th 2014… I was in labour for 14 hours before finally giving birth and when he came he had complications due to the long hours of labour.
He was under oxygen for 4 days and spent a total of 20 days in the nursery but fought so hard for his life and survived. He was a very cheerful baby and always all smiles.
He took his first steps two days to his second birth day after I had been so worked up because he didn’t even creep like most babies nor walk at an early age like my siblings and I. Once Boubou was getting to three I began to worry more because I noticed he wasn’t even mimicking nor could he understand any of us at home at all.
He was extremely hyperactive always jumping and throwing things around so we began hospital by hospital trying to figure out what was wrong but most doctors said he was slow and we should give him time. Later he couldn’t sleep at night(he would cry out through most of the nights) and the hyper activeness was increasing in the day so we still went to so many other doctors around Cameroon most of whom suggested that he was autistic and he was prescribed medications to calm down his intense activeness.
It was up until recently (2 months ago)that we saw a neurologist who took more than normal time to examine him properly, he did a CT scan and found out that some segment of Boubou’s brain lacks oxygen and that’s why he couldn’t understand what u say nor could he talk. The doctor said he couldn’t do anything for Boubou but he believed God does miracles.
Then a friend of ours told us about contacting doctors in India and we did contact lots of them through the help of other friends and they told us that they had over 50% and below 100% chance that they could rectify Boubou’s condition which will cost us almost Five million (5,000,000) francs for therapy and treatment procedures.
So for now we have a lot of faith and hope that one day Boubou will be able to open his mouth and say thank you to us all who have supported him in one way or the other. So dear people I am here to plead for your spiritual moral and financial support to help us raise money for his treatment and pray that God almighty does the rest.
Thank u for reading through please tell a friend to tell a friend to tell someone that Boubou needs your help and we his family will appreciate what ever little finances you can support us with to ensure that he gets to India to obtain treatment as soon as possible. Little drops of water they say make an ocean and God will sure repay you all mightily for your support. Thank you
