PLEASE DONATE FOR LIFESAVING MEDS

Donation protected

Hello Everyone,

ET here: I wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing very well. In addition to my other health conditions (Ever dreaded Cushing’s, herniated disc, arthritis, removal of mast cell tumours and bladder surgery), I now suffer from hypertension which Mommy is treating with medication. I still visit the vet at least once a month for laser therapy and a Cartrophen injection.

As some of you may know, I lost my furbrother Mercy Miracle tragically in September and Mommy and I are still coming to terms with it.

I'm writing to see if my friends can help me:
My monthly medication (including special urinary care food) is over $500 a month. Momm has only been receiving a portion of her salary due to illness. The portion that she's missing is what was allotted to my medication.  She will be returning to work in October but, until then, one option is to stop treating my ailments during this time but it will shorten my life which none of us wants.
I am using an old campaign that was used for specialized testing as I have a blob on one of my adrenal glands.

Needless to say, things are very stressed at home. This is only a temporary situation. However WE ARE ONLY $466 AWAY FROM MEETING OUR GOAL which will cover all my care (including my monthly laser) until October which is all want.
If anybody could donate towards my care, I’d be so grateful. We live in Canada so a lot of the foundations don't apply here.

Please share as far and wide and thank you.

Love,

ET xoxo

I have never written a more serious heart wrenching plea:

As all of you know for the past few weeks ET has been experiencing renal colic and managed to pass a stone which we HOPED was the end of it.

Yesterday he returned for follow up testing and he has many smaller stones on the floor of the bladder that he will not be able to pass on his own as they have become attached to one another; most probably by blood clots.  The only option I have of saving this Boy is surgery and it has to be soon.

Currently ET is drinking up to 1.5 liters of water a day instinctively trying to pass them on his own and is losing crucial potassium when he urinates out all the water.  This situation is CRITICAL because

- loss of potassium can lead to heart failure (which has been going on for a few weeks while we were doing our best to diagnose what was going on so he is at risk).
- The stones are attached by blood clots, which means he can throw a clot (thrombus) at any time and my little Boy will be gone.
- He is in constant pain for which he is taking Tramadol until the surgery happens.

THIS IS MISSION CRITICAL.
As you all know, ET has other health conditions, which are treatable and are controlled with medication.
The last half a year has been absolutely insane saving my rescues and do not have the time to go into it but I am sure you remember poor Mercy Miracle's saga as well as what other conditions ails E.T. (ever dreaded Cushing's, mastocytomas, herniated disc, arthritis and I'm sure I'm forgetting something that's how much of a wreck I am right now).  I am inconsollable.

Because of the above, I am still in the process of religiously paying down my outstanding balance at the clinic and had it under control until two (2) weeks ago when he spent the day there because of his stone.
In order for ET to have the surgery, the total needs to be paid UP FRONT.  The following a copy of the estimate.  THE FIRST DOLLAR THAT WILL GO TOWARDS THIS CRISIS WILL BE $3,832.00 AND WE HAVE UNTIL $5,432.00

His surgery has been scheduled for next Monday, September 18th because I want his vet to perform the procedure and to also be there the following day as only she knows all of his conditions without having to check his file.  He will be discharged sometime midweek.  However I have a little leniency and have until next Friday to come up with the funds.

I know this is a bad time with all the tragedies surrounding us but losing ET after he fought to hard to stay alive after being so abused so please don't add ET to this list.

PLEASE - I AM NOT TOO PROUD TO BEG:
PLEASE, PLEASE DONATE - THERE IS A LIFE AT STAKE!!!

DONATIONS CAN BE MADE BY
- MAKING A DONATION ON THIS SITE.
- CALLING THE CLINIC AND VERBALLY MAKING A DONATION (514-524-2727, OPTION 9, THEN 3).
- VIA PP AT [email redacted].
PLEASE PLEASE SHARE MY PLEA AS FAR AND WIDE AS POSSIBLE.  THIS IS ET'S ORIGINAL GOFUNDME FOR A PREVIOUS TESTING.  THE FIRST DOLLAR THAT WILL GO TOWARDS THIS CRISIS WILL BE $3,832.00 AND WE HAVE UNTIL $5,432.00
ET's & his Brother Mercy Miracle (because it's a miracle he survived his past) are extremely close and look out for one another.  Mercy will be in quite a state without having his Brother there for a few days - let alone if something happens.

Without YOU, he will be another statistic of past abuse.

PLEASE HELP

UPDATE:  ET was taken to the hospital yesterday (August 29th) as I'd been concerned about his needing to outside in the middle of the night and his drinking more than 1 liter of water a day.
I was convinced this was related to uncontrolled Cushing's but it was not.  For the last two weeks ET has experienced renal colic leading to passing a kidney stone in front of the vet yesterday in a pool of blood.  I can attest that it is extremely painful.  He had a series of tests performed and he has pebbles in his bladder but they are small enough that he will be able to pass them.
His diet has been changed to a urinary one and we return next week for a repeat urinalysis.  As you can well imagine, he didn't have his laser therapy afterall.

Last week he was there for his half day Cushing's testing which was about $520 and this week $818 plus I am paying off the 2k+ debt.

My Baby is still in pain.  I'd greatly appreciate it if you can find it in your heart to donate and if you wouldn't mind sharing my campaign.

I am hoping to pay at least half this bill next week when he returns.

Much respect and gratitude,

Barbara & ET.

BACKGROUND

Please ignore the campaign goal as $3200 of it went for testing.  Everything after will go towards the invoice on this page.
Hello Everyone.

Hope things are well.  I wanted to take the time, and let you  know where things stand with my Boys Mercy Miracle and ET.

They've both been through hell and back and taking everything into consideration they are doing well.

ET suffers from the ever dreaded Cushing's (for which he takes daily medication and goes for half day testing every three (3) months at the animus), mastocytomas (malig nodules - three (3) surgeries to date), herniated disc (for which he's been receiving weekly laser therapy which works very well), adrenal nodule (for which he receives ultrasounds when he's in for his half day testing), arthritis (for which he goes for half day testing - as per estimate below which is every three (3) months at the maximum and  arthritis (for which he receives monthly Cartrophen injections and has been prescribed Gabapentin).  He recently underwent testing for the nodule and we will be monitoring it very closely.    Everything is about balance and being proactive with ET and I do my best because I love him so.

Mercy Miracle came to me broken and has since had three (3) surgeries back to back:  two (2) for oral surgery and one to remove left eye.  Trust me, I tried to save it but was impossible.  He is a different dog!  His character has changed whereby he is happy, playful, and want to go for walks.  He's even put on over ten pounds!

I am grateful for everyone who has donated towards these characters and had them in their prayers;it means more to me than anybody will ever know.

Out of the many thousands of dollars spent what only remains is a balance from before we all met one another (some of ET's surgeries and one of Mercy's oral surgeries).  I feel proud that I've been paying it down with monthly payments (as below), but it's a challenge

because their monthly meds cost about $460.00.

I love these boys to the moon and back but at this rate I cannot address any future issues (and it's not an "if" but rather a "when".  I cannot handle all three (3) on one salary.

I am therefore asking everyone to donate if they can and/or share as wide as possible so we can meet the $2600 invoice.

I realize that there are other animals in need but these characters have been the exception to the rule.

ET went for his last half day testing on June 01 so will be returning in September for the very same and will cost the very same as contained in the estimate on this page.  This is a very insidious disease that you need to keep on top of or  the results can be fatal.

I do not take your generosity for granted and expect to be asked for help once all this dust settles.  This is the last part folks!!

Thank you for letting us into your lives❤️❤️

Bless You!
