How exactly does this help me? Well, as the author, I receive books at a 50% discount from the press. The profit from donations, and pre-orders purchased here, goes directly to me, the author, and helps subsidize costs incurred by touring the book.

My press provides a small stipend for my tour, but it is not enough to cover all of the costs,  so these sales help me plan a more extensive tour in advance of the book release.
