My father, Bobby Watts, who had the Bobby Watts Speed Shops, in Plant City, Lakeland, Dade City, & Orlando, Florida, as well as the American Eagle Gym, at the corner of Palmer and Dr. MLK, Jr. / Haines Street, passed away quickly & painlessly, early Thursday morning, 03 May 2018, sometime after my mother & I saw him at 230am, and sometime before 515am, when we noticed he had not left for work by around 421am, his usual departure time. He was 83 when he passed, and led a busy and full life. We believe that we can arrange a funeral for this Saturday, 12 May 2018, on a Saturday, when is it convenient for most people, but as yet, have not gotten a definite confirmation of that schedule. Friends have advised me to make this GoFundMe account, since we might need help with the costs of the funeral and any other expenses that might result as a result of my father's passing; you are welcome to contribute. When we find out about the funeral arrangements, we hope to post it on both my personal Facebook (GordonWayneWatts) and a fan page that a close family friend had created for dad's shop:

Plus, my personal blogs ( http://GordonWatts.com and http://GordonWayneWatts.com -- I have 2 pages, in case one is ever down or slow) have links to all my social media, our home and work phone numbers, and other contact information you might need.

Be good to your friends, and make peace with your enemies, because we don't all live forever: The death rate is 100%, as my father might say: Everyone that come in later goes out. Whether you are able to give anything or not, your prayers and well-wishes are the most blessed and valuable thing we all need at this time.

Here is an older photo of my father, to give a more complete picture of his life. Thank you, everybody who was a friend of his. Oh, and here are a couple of maps for those wishing to attend the service.

I will work on the obituary today and will bring it to you to look at tomorrow morning. Then I will take it to Gentry-Morrison and they will be able to get it in the Thursday paper.

See you tomorrow.

[[Gordon adds: Pastor Dan Applewhite, who is married into the Paul family, our cousins, is the official pastor for dad's funeral, and I called the church ans spoke with his son, Jason Applewhite, in the front office, just now, and Brother Jason told me that the funeral is scheduled at their church this Saturday, the 12th of May 2018, at 2pm at their church, which confirms what my mother and my cousin Pammie told me.]]
