National History Day in Maryland

Making History! One group of 7th grade students from Parker Junior High in Flossmoor have the honor of representing a school, community, and state at the National History Day in Maryland. This group competed in the Chicago History Fair in Springfield this month and took FIRST PLACE IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR THEIR CATEGORY!!! They are already winners!!!
Let's show how much we support education, teamwork, honoring history, and community by rallying around these young honor students and sending them, their teachers, and one parent to Maryland. We need to raise $11,000 by Monday, May 13th. This is the first time in the school's history that a history fair project has qualified to present on a national level. We are Illinois!
