Hurricane Harvey hit southeast Texas hard and left behind devastation for miles. Many in the Houston area, as well as surrounding areas, suffered from massive flooding after heavy rain, and some are still experiencing challenges as the water continues to rise in some areas.
Baker & McKenzie LLP has an office and over 100 employees in and around the Houston area, and our first and most important priority is their safety and well-being.
The outpouring of support from our employees throughout the state, county, and worldwide has been tremendous, with many of you asking what you can do to help support those impacted by this tragedy. This site has been created to help make that possible. The collective funds raised will be dispersed evenly to affected employees identified by our internal team. Participation in this fund raising effort is purely voluntary. The decision to contribute (or choose not to) will not in any way impact employment. All donations made by individuals are not tax deductible.
