Instruments for Fire Survivors

If you are a musician, or close to someone who is, you understand the special kind of anguish associated with losing your guitar or fiddle or banjo. And you know how powerful music can be in the healing process. Please help us reunite the victims of the horrific Butte Area Fire with their music.

Butte County is home to many members and friends of the California Bluegrass Association, and many of them escaped the inferno with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.  Already the costliest fire in state history, the Camp (Creek) Fire will take years to recover from and will require an army of public and non-profit agencies, each doing their part.

Here at the California Bluegrass Association, we’re taking on a small but important part by replacing lost or damaged musical instruments owned by current and former Association members. You can help by donating to this GoFundMe campaign, coming to one of the fundraising concerts we’re organizing, and visiting our web site,  where we are bringing together affected members with those who can help.
