Throughout his life, our dear friend Jef struggled with several different kinds of cancer.

Late in 2015, doctors discovered that the cancers had returned. Due to a host of other ailments Jef battled through his life, surgery and transplant were both not options.

Jef began chemotherapy. His doctors told him that depending on how well he tolerated the treatment he would live between one and five years.

That wasn’t to be. Jef passed away just a few short months after the initial terminal diagnosis. His friends, first among them his partner of over five years, Kathryn Daniels, were shocked at how little time they had to say goodbye.

Jef leaves behind medical bills, final expenses, and a mortgage. Please help us offset these costs as a final tribute in his memory. We all want to do something; this is how we can mobilize as a family and act as a barrier in the middle of so much grief.
