BINGO, Has Cancer Needs Treatment Stat!

Bingo's Journey:
This beautiful Ginger boy found himself being relinquished to a high-kill shelter. No hope of getting out alive solely based upon his breed. Look at his face. You can see the plea to save him in his eyes. Not a Good Samaritan, but a GREAT Samaritan did something. Anastasia, immediately took Bingo-Boy under her wing. No questions asked and no plan. There simply was not time. Relinquishing meant dying. That was not an option.
Stacy, placed this sweet baby into boarding very close to her home. Where she could visit Bingo-Boy daily and assure him he was not alone. Tell him every day that she loved him. All the while she worked every angle to find Bingo a home. That home came! Amazingly, it was people that Anastasia knew. You can imagine the relief and joy that she felt. Knowing that people she trusted would be Bingo-Boy's new forever family. Bingo surely was happy also as he sensed the elation daily coming from Anastasia, his GREAT Samaritan. The new family could not take him immediately as they were in the middle of a move. Weeks passed turning into a few months. All the while Anastasia being told and believing this loving and caring home awaited sweet Bingo. Tragically, this was not to happen. The family took in a different dog leaving Bingo cast aside. Leaving Bingo still waiting and hoping and homeless. The devastation for Anastasia and the spirit of Bingo dying was deep.
Then, during one of her daily Bingo-Boy Visits, Anastasia, notices lumps on Bingo-Boy. Concerned she immediately takes him to her Veterinarian. Knowing what was coming, but PRAYING it was just he was sick she sat and waited for the results. Her prayers were not answered this day. Bingo-Baby-Boy did indeed have Lymphoma, Cancer. The sense of obliteration, hopelessness and heartache were debilitating. Now what? How can this be happening to this beautiful creature? Didn't he deserver more? Doesn't he deserve better?
There are a few GREAT Samaritans out there. They believed Bingo deserved it ALL. Jackie R. , one of our fellow fabulous rescue peeps, DID SOMETHING! She lovingly opened up her heart and her home to Bingo-Baby! He would finally have a loving home. Anastasia and her Mum live very nearby. So Bingo-Boy not only had a Loving Home he also had a CARING family! Families come in all styles. This caring family suited Bingo just fine!
Now onto his cancer: Is it an expense? YES. Does he have a solid chance to live a life he should have always led? YES. Can we all DO SOMETHING? YES, YES and YES....donate. Anastasia has taken Bingo with the support of his eclectic family and has received several, 4, opinions from Veterinarians and Specialists. They want to assure that his chances are great enough to go for it and that they choose the right treatment. We WILL be posting the Estimate come Tuesday 2/12 as soon as the best treatment avenue is chosen. We do know that it will be at least $5k.
