Hello Everyone,
Thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page. The reason behind starting this page is quite personal to me as well as my family. For those of you who do know, my Grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease about six years ago. After my Grandfather's diagnosis, he decided he would not let this horrible disease dictate his life.
He was determined to continue enjoying the things he loved such as skiing, golf, and biking to name a few. Eventually, complications from Parkinson’s took his life. Witnessing his strength in the face of this terrifying disease has inspired me to ride my bike across the country not just for his memory, but for others who deal with the effects of Parkinson's disease today.
Sadly, he will not be there to see me cross the finish line on the Santa Monica Pier, but his memory endures through this cross-country trek in honor of him.
