This past year has been one of the most challenging years of my life. I lost one of my best friends, my beloved mother, Francesca Wish.

Shortly after my Mom passed away, I decided that I was going to ride my bicycle across the country in her honor. Mom was always super supportive of anything I wanted to do (especially my desire to adventure the world). So this has made the journey even more of a thrill. Since high school, I have been interested in bicycle touring. In my eyes there is no better time than now.

My main intention with this trip is to raise awareness about Cancer, and raise money for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island. The support of the hospice workers during an emotional and stressful time was a humbling and eye opening experience for me. My mother's oncologist referred to them as "angels sent from heaven," and I couldn't agree more.

These next five months I will be keeping everyone posted on my future endeavors. This is where you come in! I will be setting up specific links so you can donate to Hope Hospice. Additionally, I am starting a GoFundMe if you want to contribute to my journey that way!
