Support and Pray for Regmi Family

Namaste 


We, the Regmi Family, resident of Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking your prayers and support at this difficult time of our family crisis. I, Pratima regmi and My loving husband Bijay Prasad Regmi have been married for the past 18 years, and are blessed with two beautiful sons Umang (14 yrs) and Rhythm ( 2 yrs) . We are a beautiful family together who share a very special bond with each other. Our native place in Nepal is Salakpur in Morang. My husband is the sole earning member in our family and we are all dependent on him. Mr Regmi is also an active member of NRN and has been very active in volunteering for the community. His loving, caring and helpful nature have blessed us with lots family friends. 


About the Incident
Saturday May 4th 2019, 2 PM
My husband got ready to go to work and as he was about to leave the house he got a sudden stroke and fell down  on ground. we family member were all at the house and did not understand what exactly happened to him. we initially thought he might have tipped over and fallen down but once we looked at him we noticed that something was wrong. We called 911 immediately and the ambulance arrived and he was taken to Lutheran general hospital right away. 


Diagnosis and Treatment
He was diagnosed with blood clot in his brain which led to the stroke. The left side of his body is paralyzed.  Due to the stroke both his kidney got damaged which is also making his treatment more complicated. He is in ICU and unresponsive since being admitted to the hospital. He has undergone surgery to drain the blood from his brain to remove the colt. He is also on dialysis due to acute kidney failure.


Day 10 May 13th
He is in coma and is being treated at Lutheran general hospital ICU. He is not responding to the treatment very well and is not showing much sign of improvement since being admitted.


Our Request
We are seeking your prayers and financial support and also request you to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. We request everyone to extend their helping hands during this difficult time so that we can get through this difficult phase of our life. We would also request you to pass the message among your family and friends.
