Biggest flood in Daintree

This flood was much bigger then what expected! The Daintree river showed all its wild side! Enrico, and Alberto his brother,  worked as hard as possible prior the flood, to save as much as they could but wasn't enough! The big flood came at 1 o'clock at night, no locals ever seen anything like this before. Kira the dog and 8 chickens are safe, 11 duck and the bees flew away, hope they are safe somewhere too! All  furniture and  most of large appliances were lost. The house looks like a big blender! As you can see on the pictures, everything need to be started again. We are waiting to drain up and begin the hard work all together. Any kind of help will be appreciated.  Thank you, Manuela.
