Help Isaiah Take His Life Back

Isaiah is our only son. On September 8th I got a call from one of the trainers at the middle school during football practice letting me know that Isaiah had a bad headache and needed to be picked up. When I got there he was sick and incoherent. I took him to the emergency room where we eventually found out that he had “intracranial hemorrhaging” (Later to be diagnosed as a ruptured Arteriovenous Malformations or AVM). It is very similar to a brain aneurysm. They transferred him to the Children's Hospital where the best pediatric neurosurgeon performed surgery on him. The survival rate for this kind of thing is very low. Isaiah was only 13 years old. Isaiah is a miracle!
The hemorrhage in his left temporal lobe affected the whole right side of his body. When he woke up, he was unable to use that side. He had a 6 week stay in the hospital, and with the help of his doctors, nurses, therapists, and God’s healing hand, he has made such incredible progress. We give thanks and praise to a God who answers prayers.
Isaiah turned 14 last month, and now deals with Aphasia and Apraxia. His words are clear, but he struggles to communicate verbally in a way that gets a complete idea across. Even through those struggles, God is still using Isaiah's daily testimony to move and inspire others. It’s one of his biggest frustrations in this whole ordeal. He also wants to RUN and has expressed an interest in running track. Something he has never done previous to this incident! I think that he values things he never did before.
Although he has made incredible progress, Isaiah’s therapists strongly recommended that he get special and intense therapy. The place that provides this therapy, is the Neuro-IFRAH Clinic in Foster City as well as San Diego, California. Unfortunately they do not accept insurance, and we cannot afford to get there on our own.
He has been for one week already, and made some progress. That week gave us a vision, and so much hope! We now can see that he needs at least 3 more weeks of this therapy. The cost is $250 per hour in an intensive week. We can choose between 4 or 6 hour sessions each day. In order to complete this therapy, we are asking for help with the cost of the therapy itself, cost of flight, hotel, and rental car for me and Isaiah.
