Hello BFG Family! We would like you to know that we are truly blessed to have you be apart of our convention this year and we deeply appreciate you taking time out of your life to patronize our event and spend the weekend with us! Unfortunately, with a sad an heavy heart we regret to inform you that with attendance at only 60% of our break even point we fell considerably short of our financial need to support this years convention. We desperately want to provide this convention for years to come and are even now working on ways to increase our cost return for future shows. Presently however, we must deal with the debt that is in front of us and so we have decided to create a Go Fund Me page for this purpose. We hope that you, the local fan community, would consider helping us by investing in the future of Big Fandom Greenville. We want nothing more than to provide you with a quality convention to call your own for years to come and are directly putting that decision in your hands. We know that this request will undoubtedly turn some of you away from BFG and for that we are deeply sorry and understand your feelings. We have not entered into this decision lightly but after much deliberation feel that it is the most viable option to continue forward. We have already received a handful of donations from fellow staff, and even a guest of our show which leaves our current need at $5,000. Any amount receive beyond this goal will go directly towards improving next years event. Thank you for reading our post and we are sorry to bring you such unfortunate news. No matter what, we will always cherish the time we had with you in our first convention and are eternally grateful for the love you have shown us.
