Bicycle Angels 200 Bikes Challenge!

Since 2009, Bicycle Angels has been making free road bicycle loans to individuals participating in fund-raising charity bike rides and triathlons. To date, we have helped over 600 participants raise over $1.6 million in funds for 16 great charities like the AIDs LifeCycle, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, California Bicycle Coalition, Police Unity Tour and more.
We've grown from our original location in Redondo Beach, CA with four bikes, to five locations in three states with over 160 bikes. Our goal is to continue to grow across the US and have offices in each major city.
At this time, we are having a "200 bike campaign." The goal of the campaign is to raise enough funds to purchase about 40 road bikes that will put us over a total of 200 bikes. We are hoping to have cash in hand when we attend Interbike this September to approach bicycle manufacturers about a bulk purchase. Once purchased, the bikes will be moved to our existing offices (Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City) plus new offices that we will be starting in 2018 and beyond.
In order to make this happen we need your support. You can feel comfortable knowing that Bicycle Angels is Gold rated on Guidestar Charity evaluator web site, and that your donation is tax deductible. Being an all-volunteer staffed charity with low overhead, we're super efficient with our donations. All bikes get used repeatedly to help raise money for great charities.
