Hi,
Anybody who donates a minimum of $10 gets snail-mail CD copy of the demo album, anybody who donates a minimum of $20 gets a CD of the album and a signed photo.
Projected release is before 2025 as that will be the 10 year mark from when I started writing songs in this bad economy (after all they can't automate poets).
(This is a work in progress and my all original catalog is continuing to grow so later I will offer choices of demos one would like to receive with a little background as how each album came about)
The money will go toward a release on Bandcamp or my own website depending. Tracks will be a minimum of 25 minutes of songs worth or about 10 tracks per cd -- I have multiple albums in production.
I mark ten years as that is Dwight Yoakam's mark when he made his break through from being a 19 year old kid in 1977 coming to LA to wrangle his bid for power in the real music, and I like to have a good yardstick by which progress can be measured -- though I don't expect anything near 1 to 1 comparison in results.
I'm planning on recording with 2 inch reel-to-reel, with UA optical compressor, UA reverb, and UA mic pre to a 44 ribbon mic to sweeten everything and bring up the sound with a nice low end rhythm section, some pedal steel, and possible string bass.
