Brook Forest Dr Flash Flood Repair
Donation protected
WBTV Footage On December 30th, 2015 our quiet little community suffered a flash flood wiping out our only way in and out of our neighborhood. We are thankful everyone remained safe during the collapse of the common private road.
Due to the fact our road is privately maintained, residents will have to cover the expense to repair it. Many friends and family have been gracious to offer their assistance to haul out rock, provide trips to the grocery store, etc. until the 7 families who are stranded on the other side of the collapse have the ability to drive across.
As you can imagine the cost of renting heavy-duty equipment, purchasing and hualing in rock, man hours and ultimately repaving the road is going to be a costly venture for these 7 families. ANY contribution is most appreciated!
We would like to thank our local Bethlehem Fire Department for responding so quickly and ensuring all families were safe as well as our neighbors on El Bethel & afar for checking on us and offering support. Thank you!
