To raise funds for the forthcoming TV documentary "THE BACKWARD GLANCE" www.irishpost.co.uk about the acclaimed art of London based Irish artist Bernard Canavan.
The TV feature Documentary is a co-production between the UK’s David P.Kelly Films (www.davidpkellyfilms.com)and Irelands award winning TV & Film production company Abu Media.
The film will be directed by David Caffrey (credits-LOVE HATE, LINE OF DUTY)
Music and songs by THE BIBLE CODE SUNDAYS.
Executive producers are Bible Code Sundays and Finbar Holian at THE CLADDAGH RING.
How will we spend the money?
We will use the money to convince both R,T.E and the B.B.C that we will cover 50% of a normal TV documentary budget .We will also work with film agencies in Ireland and the UK with the same goals. The money raised will not pay staff salaries.
What will we do?
We will:
- present the five minute TV pilot to the top Irish, European, USA and UK broadcasters.
- Fight to make the best film possible and tell these untold stories within Bernards paintings.
The future of untold imigrant stories depends on more films like this being made and seen in the UK and around the World.
