Ben's Memorial Mile
Our non-profit organization celebrates the life of Benjamin Lee Silver by bringing together communities of people, businesses, and relationships through a series of events to be held within the stadium track of Downers Grove North High School on Saturday, June 11, 2016. 

Our focus is to raise funds for the awareness, education, and research for mental health situations; specifically Schizophrenia. 

Events will consist of a variety of mile-long races, competitively and leisurely, as well as kids competitions! In the end, it's all about bringing the community together for a great cause!


Why We Need Your Help....
We cannot do this alone. We have a team of exceptional volunteers who have dedicated their time and efforts to see this vision expand, but we are looking for suggestions and support!

Ben’s Memorial Mile serves to celebrate and foster our sense of community. Every year, we come together to renew old bonds, create new golden memories, and raise awareness of Schizophrenia. Proceeds will go to support Schizophrenia research and education in honor of Benjamin Lee Silver’s Story.
