Ben's trip to race in France

Donation protected
Hello!

My name is Ben Katerberg, and I am a 17-year-old Canadian road cyclist pursing my dream to become a professional cyclist.

Having finished secondary school in January, I am excited to have been given the opportunity to race and train in France for March and April. This trip will offer a very high level of racing and act as a crucial stepping stone to a professional team. I will be based in Toulouse starting February 25th, where I will race one to two times a week in a wide range of events.

I have been training hard in the past three and a half years, and am now ready to take my racing to the next level. It is every cyclists dream to race in Europe, and I have been given a great opportunity to do just that. I would love your support to make this possible.

Later in the year, my sights are set on the Canadian National Road, Crit & TT Championships and Le Tour de Abitibi where I will ride hard to earn my spot on the national team to race in the 2018 UCI World Championships in Austria.

Costs for this trip are broken down to:

$1300 for a plane ticket
$300 in luggage fees to France
$307 per week x 8 weeks = $2456 (includes rent, food and ground travel)

$4056 total expenses

Any and all donation are greatly appreciated!

Many thanks for your support,

Ben Katerberg
