Hi, I'm Ben and since 2009 I have been making videos of public transport and lifts. I try to make my videos both informational and fun to watch. I hope to bring high quality content and views that most people are not able to get, including lift shafts, motor rooms, and unusual events.
I would like to expand my content further and bring my viewers content from far away places such as Japan, South Korea, China and Taiwan. Also I would like to bring my viewers content from of the beaten track, places that tourists don't go, including smaller Chinese cities, unheard of places in Ukraine, North Africa, and Transnistria (the break away state from Moldova).
Sadly, this costs money. Long Haul flights are expensive, also traveling to remote places away from airports can be somewhat costly, hotels can end up costing a lot of money. Also, short haul flights to a destination that Ryanair haven't chosen as this months cheap destination are often not so cheap.
An example of a cheap flight adventure (3 nights) can cost....
Petrol to Airport - £12
Dart Charge - £5 (£2.50 each way)
Flights - £20 (£10 each way)
Overpriced airport bus at destination - £15
Metro ticket £18 (3 x £6)
Accommodation - £75 (3 x £25)
Total - £145 (excluding food)
Then food can cost £14 a day in the UK, £16 a day in eurozone, £25 a day in expensive countries, £11 a day in Poland and Romania.

Metro ticket £30 (5 x £6)
Accommodation - £150 (5 x £30)
Total - £567 (excluding food)
Then imported european food can cost more in Asia.
The other thing is that the money I get from YouTube does not cover the cost of making videos. I am a full time youtube, and I have never covered my expenses from my earnings (despite only spending the smallest amount of money possible in making them). It has reached the point where I might become forced to get a more regular form of income, but this would mean that I would have to make videos a lot less often.
