Benefit for Tony Kakaris

We are asking for help for our good friend, Tony Kakaris, and his family as well.  Tony is valiantly fighting against Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma – a cancer of the bone marrow. Tony is currently in the middle of six months (!) of continual chemotherapy and radiation. The entire process was misdiagnosed for some time due to very large kidney stones that he had to have removed. As if that weren't enough, the cancer caused three fractured vertebrae that he couldn’t have fixed for several months. Tony even played several shows with them broken and in pain before they realized what was going on. To say Tony is a trooper and a fighter would be an understatement by far. To say that he hasn’t amassed some significant medical bills through all of this, would be an even greater understatement. Tony has been there for so many others in so many ways, we hope you will find it in your heart to help he and his wife, Marsha. A little less worrying and stress about bills would go a long way to helping Tony win this fight.

In addition to this GoFundMe page, we will be having a fundraising event where Tony’s bluegrass band, Nightflyer, along with several other bands will be giving a concert.
