Dear Friends of the Bellydance America Community,
I am thrilled to lead our dancing goddesses in the 12th Annual Dance Parade this year! We welcome you to join us dancing down Broadway and across Saint Marks.
We are asking for your support to raise money for a fully decorated PARADE FLOAT -- The first time we did this in Dance Parade was 2016 and it was so much! And we have great perks to help make this happen.
As you may know Dance Parade was originally founded as a protest to the 1926 Cabaret Law that restricted dance in NYC. Just a few months ago, the organizers of the parade managed to repeal the law and are celebrating with the theme "THE CABARET OF LIFE"
Your contribution will enable us to secure a beautiful float package that comes with liability insurance, a sound system to amplify our drums and a tow vehicle to pull a 28+ foot parade float.
