A few months have elapsed since the Belize Protectors' (BP) exemplary performance at the Baker-to-Vegas (B2V) Relay Footrace in 2016 has only proven that the energy, enthusiasm, and heart you invested in this wonderful endeavor have not been in vain. Something you can now “Belize” in. The Belize Protector’s extraordinary accomplishment has been met with universal excitement, and has bolstered national pride in Belize while earning the admiration and respect of the race organizers and Belize Protectors’ formidable competitors in the United States and abroad. “You better “Belize” it.
As we prepare to repeat that exemplary performance in B2V 2017, your unwavering support in 2015-2016 is fondly remembered, yet again, as future generations in Belize will not ever forget the “un-Belize-able” performance of the first BP team, your continuing support will afford the next team the ability to be competitive in 2017 in this world-class event, and keep Belize in its rightful place in the annals of modern history. Go forward with pride Belize.
The Executive Committee is working indefatigably to raise the funds necessary in order to meet the attendant costs necessary to get the team to and from the event in the United States. As the old adage goes “if each of us would give a little, no one would have to give a lot”. Having stated the obvious, no contribution is too small or too large, and each will be appreciated by Belizeans and friends of Belizeans at home and abroad. We are “Belize-ing” in you.
