Before You Forget: the video

I am producing a short video to show the story behind Before You Forget , my YA novel about a year 12 art student dealing with her father's diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer's disease. It also features a naughty Jack Russell called Hecta :) The novel's release date: 30 January 2017.
The video will feature my daughter, her artwork, and selected excerpts from the novel. The aim is for two things:
1)to educate on younger onset Alzheimer's and create a window of empathy to those living with it, and
2) to encourage young people (especially) to channel their negative experiences into something expressive and positive (like the creative arts).
The money will be used solely to pay the talented young creatives (director, editor, sound designer, colour grader, gaffer, cinematographer) who have already committed to the project. They are passionate about making the best quality, artistic product possible. The director is 25 year old Kori Reay-Mackey, who you can read about here .

Our launch date will be mid-February.
