Mike and Rebekah's Home Rebuilding
With no flood insurance, down to one vehicle and under construction for the unforeseeable future, the Maricellis are grateful for their friends and their jobs, but they know there is a long road ahead.
Most furniture, clothes, kitchenware, and personal belongings are ruined. Funds will be used to help to rebuild their home (sheetrock, flooring, electrical, etc.) and replace furniture and belongings that were lost. Michael and Rebekah are grateful for so much generosity and how they've already seen God's hand in this, and know there are many lessons to be learned.
The house has come a long way since the flood -- we have, with the kindness of friends, church members and people we don't even know, gotten to remove the waterlogged drywall, insulation, baseboards, cabinetry and appliances, and our furniture is in storage. This was a huge task, as you can imagine. Seeing this account rise as our spirits are on a rollercoaster is such a morale boost. Thank you for all your help.
Everyone, we are so grateful and overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you for making such a heavy time much lighter, and for reminding us of all the good. We love you all and will never forget this kindness.
