Beau Worgren

Little Beau came too early, at 26 weeks. He only weighs 1lb 2oz and is 10 1/4 inches long. He was diagnosed with IUGR, interuterine growth restriction. He was no longer receiving the nutrients from the placenta needed to continue growing and it became life threatening to leave him in the womb. My daughter Roxanne had to have an emergency C section. When Beau was born he measured the same size as a baby at 21-22 weeks gestation even though he was 26 almost 27 weeks.  Baby Beau started off his journey in the NICU in Duluth then ended up having to be life flighted to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis due to a tear in his intestines. Beau had to have emergency surgery to temporarily correct the tear in his intestine which they ended up having to give him an ostomy. He will require more surgeries as he gets older to completely repair the tear and return his intestines to inside his stomach. My daughter, Roxanne, had to suddenly take off work due to the emergency C-section and be with him in the NICU. The loss of her income impacts them greatly as Beau's Dad, Ryan, is there only income now and they also have a young daughter to support too!  Any amount would be greatly appreciated to cover the unexpected loss of income, trips back and forth to Minneapolis, rent, bills, and meals.
