2019 - Atticus is still fighting cancer, Osteosarcoma.

On Thursday May 16th, almost a year after Atticus' limb salvage surgery in 2018, Atticus had a leg amputation to continue in his fight against cancer.

Irene was just about ready to go find work again after everything seemed to have calmed a bit. But Atticus' cancer is back so it will be another year of unemployment. Because she is receiving child support for her 3 children she is unable to get TANF. So, here we are again asking for donations to help Irene, Atticus, Anneka, and Angelena get through another year of battling cancer.  Irene is still needing help with rent and bills and general expenses for the year.

2018 - Donate to help with Atticus’ fight against cancer, Osteosarcoma.

The money will be used for monthly/daily expenses that his single mother Irene, will need to pay while she is away from work, and  taking care of Atticus and her two other children Anneka, and Angelena.

Rent, food, transportation, and utilities and any unforeseen medical costs.

We don't know how long this journey will take. Chemo can take up  to 60 weeks depending on how well the first round of chemo goes.

Update from Irene:
I was just about ready to go find work again! But tada! Cancer is back so it will be another year of unemployment. I went to TANF and said my $1003 in child support was “too much” to get TANF. So, here we are again. I get food stamps, and a friend is sending Farm to Fit. Just need help with rent and bills and shit for the year, because you know, kids aren’t cheap.

Hi everyone!

Today is my sister Irene's birthday! They have spent the last week at OHSU Doernbecher because Atticus got his limb salvage surgery!

It went well and Atticus is recovering really well. It was tough the first few days, but he's ready to go home - on his mom's birthday! Happy Birthday, Irene!

Please send Irene a little gift to add to this GoFundMe as she has no income right now and takes such good care of her kids, especially during this very trying time, and taking care of Atticus is more than it's own full time job!

If you can't give at this time, please share all over your social media and say Happy Birthday to Irene!

Atticus and Irene went to the clinic the other day because Atticus was getting a fever. They took labs and he was still neutropenic and had low blood counts, and was going into failure to thrive. They decided to admit him into the hospital for a blood transfusion and to start IV nutrition, because he keeps vomiting up his feed tube.

Please keep remembering to give, every little bit helps Irene and her kids pay rent and all of their living expenses while she is unemployed. Keep sharing via your email contacts and social medias! You all rock! Thanks for keeping my nephew in your hearts and holding on to hope for them.
