Save the Bean

This is Bean. She is a twelve week old kitten we adopted from the SPCA. We knew upon adopting her that she had a heart murmur....or so they thought. She actually has a very correctable, but fatal if not corrected, hereditary issue called PDA. Patent Ductis Arteriosis. Simply, there is a vessel to her heart that requires a suture to close because it back flows blood to her heart and lungs. If not closed she will go into heart failure and die within the year. We are not looking for handouts. We just need to do the right thing and give her a chance. Come January we will donate $500 to the local SPCA in her name. Anything raised here above her bills will also be donated. We want to pay forward the kindness we receive and help other animals. Thanks for your consideration.
