The cookoff event will raise funds for TWO police organizations — with just a little extra going to the police organization that makes the better pulled pork!
Come to Mrs. G at 2720 U.S. 1 Business, Lawrence Township at 11 a.m. Sept. 24 for the event.
A panel of celebrity and five other VIP judges (enter to be one of them here: http://nj1015.com/?p=655706) will pick the winner, with 60 percent of the proceeds from this fundraiser going to the winner's group. The other 40 percent will go to the other group.
The Lawrence Police Department, with griller Tom Everist, has chosen Lawrence Township FOP Lodge 209. The Trenton department, with griller Michael Kruchinski, has chosen the Trenton PBA No. 11 Civic Association.
Celebrity judges include New Jersey 101.5 morning host and Chasing News leader Bill Spadea, Jessica Nutt of Chasing News, New Jersey 101.5 guest host and Trentonian writer Jeff Edelstein.
