Bay Ridge Hurricane Relief Fund

Hurricane Harvey devastated many neighborhoods in Texas, and Bay Ridge (in League City) is just one of them.

Julie and I both live in Friendswood, and we started this GoFundMe to support four families from this neighborhood whose homes were flooded and who will have to rebuild them. One of the families includes Julie's stepchildren's household.

These families (Josh, Jamie & kids; Brooke, Bill & kids; Josey & Hannah; Kyrsten, Douglas & kids) will have to live away from their homes while renovations take place, and in some cases will rebuild themselves. If you are able to help support the costs associated with this, especially the costs of home renovation materials and assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. Funds raised here will be divided among the families to be used for:

   - Building materials (sheetrock, drywall,  tools, cabinet replacement, paint)
   - Labor to help restore homes
   - Replacing what has been ruined (as far as we know, most living room furniture survived. Primarily, beds, dressers and kitchen appliances need to be replaced)
