Help Us Build Our Basketball Museum

While basketball coaches, players, and teams are often judged by wins and statistics, their true legacy is defined by their positive contributions on and off the court; by the number of hearts they touched, people they've inspired, and differences they've made to others that last a lifetime.

We need your help to build the Basketball Museum of Illinois, a comprehensive facility that will preserve and grow the rich tradition and history of basketball in Illinois from the junior high level to the professional game. Conveniently located in Pontiac, IL, the museum will attract visitors from throughout the state as an appealing family destination.

The Museum will recognize the elite talents, skills, and contributions of deserving coaches, players, teams, officials, media, and friends of basketball in our state. Galleries, displays, and educational programs will enable visitors of all ages to learn stories, see historical artifacts, experience the greatest basketball moments in Illinois history... even test their basketball skills in our interactive exhibits.

Please team up with us to help make this basketball legacy museum a reality and honor the legacies of the people who helped Illinois basketball earn its repuation as one of the very few premier basketball states in the nation. Our goal is $50,000 and will be used for build-out and exhibit construction.
