Barrington HS Sailing Nationals

UPDATE:  Thank you for your support!  We have reached our goal to attend Nationals in Houston, TX.  The generosity of our local community, sailing community, friends and family has been amazing.  The Barrington High School Sailing Team is overwhelmed by the out pour of support and can’t wait to compete on a national level in Texas.  As sailors, we know there are many lessons to be learned on the water; thanks to all of you these sailors are learning other valuable lessons of generosity, community spirit, and sportsmanship off of the water.  Donations in excess of what we need for Nationals will be put into our team’s account to cover future travel, regatta fees, and other expenses.

Barrington High School,  Barrington, RI  qualified for Nationals this past weekend by placing third in the New England High School Sailing Championships.  Coached by Dennis Kloc, the team consists of Riley Kloc and Kaleigh  Morgan,  Josh Dillon and Drew Dillon, and Chip Kreuzkamp and Joe Wicker.  The team is hoping to travel  to Nationals on May 12th in Houston, Texas and take home  the National Championship.  We are a  public high school club team and funds are being raised individually to help support our team's dream.
